hey YouTube some of you might be wondering why did I move to Colorado from Nashville Tennessee so the first thing is may seem kind of obvious but allergies Nashville is known to be like allergy people of the United
States basically cities kind of shaped like in this and the pollen and trees etc all of these allergens also some I'm sure they're carried by the wind end up in this city and I find myself getting like pretty
sick twice a year at least sometimes three or four times a year and it would just basically waste a week of my life at a time where I wasn't very functional and I knew that allergies were so more
related to your local area so I wondered if in other parts United States a might not deal with allergies as much it's a fact in Colorado and so far here in California I haven't gotten sick at all in
relation to allergies I think I've still had like maybe got a cold or two in Colorado but nothing related to allergies that really stuck out to me number two I was in a really not very good relationship I
was like Nashville and I just wanted to not should not continue to struggle through that and I felt like leaving the area would help me break up so my from one breakup the poor relationship and to break up
so I told poor habits and it works somewhat some things I'm still working on but definitely helped change my life in a different direction number three I had I have on my record it's been expunged now but a
situation where as a teen I got arrested for marijuana and I always knew that local employers would look at that in a strange way at Nashua we don't want to still illegal in Nashville it will probably be illegal
for a while and unlike in western states many western states where marijuana is legal and people aren't that worried about it most people obviously if you're working on a heavy machinery if you're a driver jobs like this you
don't need to be intoxicated on the clock and it's not to say anybody should be but it's pretty dangerous and wrong for people who take others lives into their own hands to be influenced what you do I have
to work on your own time is your own business but anyway I always felt like this cloud hanging over my head let go you're you know a doper or whatever and I felt like well the Colorado marijuana is
legal so one I don't have to worry about being looked at a certain way for having to talk about it it's very expunged now so I don't think I'd have to talk about it anyway but I know that
for certain types of jobs like federal jobs they're still going to be able to and so anyway I didn't encounter any sort of discrimination based on marijuana usage in Colorado it's pretty open it's not only was I medical
patient it's also illegal just for adults 21 so yes that was part of my decision-making one of the factors of my decision-making process but it wasn't deal finally number four the weather some of you may or may not
know this but weather in the south is not mild compared to the Midwestern Northeast it may not be as cold but from what I experienced it could get a lot hotter and so I knew basically the ten months
out of the year the weather was going to be either too hot or too cold for me to really enjoy spending a lot of time outside whereas in Denver I found the weather to be good probably eight months
out of the year there was definitely some times in the winter that was way too cold to do much outside that was usually for maybe a week at a time but yeah that's number fours is definitely this time
it just so sunny in Colorado really had a positive impact on my mood a lot of the time it's not to set in struggle with depression Colorado I certainly did aside from the cold snaps I had different interpersonal
struggles with housing and trying to find direction and in the reinventing myself process there was a lot of stress but definitely can't say there was as much more there related stress as when I was living in Nashville so
I almost said I said there's only before but I can scrape my mind for a fifth reason just you know change I always lived in Tennessee nothing you know against Tennessee and saying this but I've always I'd always
look Tennessee up until that point and I just wanted to do something different several of my friends that didn't want me to leave I realized hey they're actually for other places too so that was somewhat encouraging to me
that you can go and make it in a place other than a place that you came from but yeah those are just five reasons I wanted to share like why I moved from Tennessee to Colorado in 2015
